Spark was founded by Beth Dangerfield, an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience in the areas of literacy, English as a Second Language instruction and special education. Beth brings her professional experience in both education and health care together with her lived experience as a mom of a child with complex needs making Spark a  truly unique learning space.

Spark began in 2021 as a part of Flourish on Queen, now Flourish Health Services , a pediatric clinic in the heart of the Toronto Beach community. Since that time, Spark has grown in size and scope. We offer an increasingly wide range of direct instruction programs in the areas of reading, writing, language, and math as well as educational consulting services.
