Spark Education Services provides Direct Instruction and Educational Consulting services for students with diverse learning needs. We acknowledge that the land on which Spark Education Services operates here on Queen Street East, next to Lake Ontario is situated upon the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. This land has been and still is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Williams Treaties signed with multiple Mississaugas and Chippewa bands.

We are grateful to be able to work on this land and recognize the need for ongoing learning to understand how to support truth and reconciliation both personally and professionally. We promise to seek out opportunities that will enrich our understanding and appreciation of history and the way forward – of the land we work on and the people to whom it belongs.
